A (Machine Pitch) Division - PLAYER AGES 8 & 9 YEARS OLD (10 years old with waiver) [A:Machine Pitch Division Rules]
All Little League 8 year old are automatically assigned to the A (Machine Pitch) division unless they request to play down in the Coach Pitch division. Little League age 9 year old players not drafted onto a AAA or AA team and all 10 years old that waiver down will be assigned to an A (Machine Pitch) team. The A (Machine Pitch) Coordinator will assign players to teams and will structure teams based on the school currently attended and prior year team assignment and evaluations if applicable. The Coordinator will try to honor ONE play-with request per player.

Expectations: The A (Machine Pitch) division is an instructional division, and teams will use a regular baseball and pitching machine to provide consistent speed and location of pitches. Some player pitching elements may be added late in the season at the discretion of the A (Machine Pitch) Division Coordinator. Informal scores of each game may be kept, but league standings will not be kept. Players are rotated to all ten defensive positions (extra outfielders), all players bat, and no player sits on the bench more than any other player.

Time Commitment: There is generally one practice during the week and one game on Saturday during the season.
