2012 Season Team Assignments
The 2012 Season Player Evaluations for all registered players has completed and over the next couple of weeks we will be drafting and forming teams. As team assignments are finalized we will post them here on the website (Check the link below). We draft our upper divisions first and then the lower division teams are formed. All team assignments for the 2012 Season should be available by the end of the January.

Rosters for the Juniors, Majors, AAA and AA Divisions are now available.
Draft and team formation for all other divisions are still in progress.
2012 Spring Season Registration
Del Mar Little League will be offering divisions for all players who will be Little League Age 5 through 14 during the SPRING 2012 season.

Wait-List Registration remains open.
If you like to register for the 2012 Spring Season, you can pre-register on-line and be placed on the wait-list. Players will be cleared from our wait-list on a first come first served basis as space becomes available in the various divisions. We will continue to place players from the wait-list as needed until the season starts. Please note that in divisions that draft teams (AA through Majors) we cannot place players after the drafts have completed in January.

2012 Season update: Little League International Announces Bat Rules Changes for 2012 Season
For the Little League Major Baseball Division and below: The moratorium on composite-barreled baseball bats remains in effect.
Moratorium: As of December 30, 2010 Little League International placed an immediate moratorium on the use of composite bats in all divisions of Little League (Ages 5-12). Note that Del Mar Little League strictly adheres to this policy.
Approved Composite Bats (2 1/4 inch barrels) for all divisions Majors and below

2012 Season update: Little League International Announces Bat Rules Changes for 2012 Season
For Junior League Baseball: Composite-barreled baseball bats in this division, regardless of barrel size, must meet BBCOR (Batted Ball Co-Efficient of Restitution) standards, and must be so labeled. Note that all composite-barreled baseball bats that meet the BBCOR standard shall have a “drop” of no more than “minus-3.” However, bats that do not have composite materials in the barrel (i.e., all metal, all alloy, all wood), and meet all other applicable standards, can have ANY drop weight.
Moratorium: The moratorium on the use of composite bats in the Junior, Senior, and Big League Baseball Divisions of Little League was enacted on Aug. 27, 2010, by the Little League International. Here is the update on the moratorium.
